What is transit?
Transit is a berth accommodation service in the marina for a shorter time period. A transit berth is charged to the customer on daily or monthly basis. Transit boats are accommodated on the available berths in the marina or on the contract berths of other boats that have made an absence announcement for specific time. When the transit boat arrives to the marina, a reception desk will open a transit order.
It should be noted that the transit module should be used for boats that are just entering, or have just entered your marina; if you wish to register a boat that will be coming to your marina in the future, it is better to do so via the booking calendar module. This way, you will avoid an overlap of boats and confusion on your marina map.
Transit order
Transit order is an (electronic) document that is opened in the Marinacloud to keep evidence, charge and collect payment of the transit boats that are accommodated in the marina. For each transit boat a single transit order is created and it will be closed after the boat has left the marina.
Transit dashboard
Click on the Transit module in the main menu - to get a preview of all actual transit boats located in the marina. Note that there are two possible modes for viewing transit boats. You can change these modes by clicking the 
buttons in the top right corner of the Transit module.

On the screen, there is an overview of all transit boats. There are several possible statuses of the transit boats, as follows:
Status of the transit order:
| Transit order status: | Description: |

| Draft | Transit order opening is started but unfinished. The berth position is assigned but the boat’s documents are not collected yet. This is a temporary status and it should be resolved by the end of the current shift. Draft can be also used as a short-term reservation (berth assigned to the boat entering into marina) |
| Active / Not charged | transit is created but not charged. The boats’ documents are being kept at the reception desk, until the transit berth is not charged and paid |
| Active / Charged | transit order is created and charged until specific date. The boats’ documents of boats in this status can be returned to the customer. The boats with paid transit until today, will be marked in orange color. |
| Storno | transit order that was created by mistake or for example a boat entered the marina and left it after a little time for some reason |
| Closed | transit order that was accommodated in the marina, paid the fee and left the marina on time |
