Add new transit

How to create a new transit order?

To create a new transit in the marinacloud application, use the following step-by-step guide: 

  1. Open the module by clicking the Transit button in the main menu

  2. After opening the Transit module, click the Action button

  3. Choose the Create new transit option

  4. After opening the window, fill in the data: the berth where the boat is located in the marina, the transit boat's arrival date, optionally the transit boat's departure date and number of passengers on board - then click Next

  5. In the following transtop, you will assign a customer to the transit, whether an existing or a new one.
    In order to find an existing customer, use the Search our database tab. In the search bar, you can enter the customer's name, boat's name or even the boat model, and the application will filter all of the existing customers and their boats.

    If you want to edit an existing customer or boat, simply click the name of the customer/boat and a new window to edit the data of that customer/boat will pop up.




    If you have an existing customer coming to your marina with a new boat, or a new customer arriving with an existing boat (a situation frequent with charter boats), the process is very simple.
    Find the appropriate customer/boat using the search bar, and select it (along with the associated boat/customer). You will now have a customer + boat combination selected. Now click the Action button, and you will be provided with the option of keeping either the customer or the boat of the customer + boat combination, and assigning a new customer/boat to that combination by choosing either the 'Select customer, register new BOAT' or 'Select boat, register new CUSTOMER' customer. E.g., we have selected the Ćiro Blažević + Vatreni (customer + boat) combination. We want to assign a new customer to the boat Vatreni. We click the Action button and select the 'Select boat, register new CUSTOMER' option. The following window pops up:

    We enter the required data for the new customer and continue to the next trainstop.

  6. In this trainstop, you will select the services provided to the transit customer. After doing so, click Next to head to the final trainstop.
    Additionally, if you have loyalty schemas (discounts) set up, you will be able to select them here and apply them to the transit service in question.

  7. In the final trainstop, you will be presented will all of the information that you've entered for this transit. Check if everything is alright, and then click Confirm to finalize your transit order.
    Alternatively, click Checkout if you wish to immediately proceed to the check out & charge phase for a transit order.
