Active: Tick if this user is currently active in your company.
Select groups assigned to user
In the below windows, select which groups the user belongs to and, by doing so, which privileges they will have in your Marinacloud application. For more information on user groups, please see Editing users groups below. Note that all active groups have to be in the window to the right.
Editing user groups
User groups are a very convenient and simple way to organize your users.
By assigning individual privileges to user groups, when you are creating or editing a user, you don't have to assign them individual privileges. Instead, you just give them the correct group privileges and you're set.
In order to do so, click Edit groups in the top right corner and the following window will pop up.
The left section of this window contains the list of all of your user groups and their descriptions. By clicking the Add new group and Remove buttons, you can easily remove or create groups.
In order to edit an existing group, click the group's name on the left and the roles (or privileges) of that group will appear to the right. For example, if you want a group of users to be able to view the Pricelist module, assign them with the pricelist-view role/privilege.
